Let’s enchant how people move through your business.

Behavior Science for Better Business

For years, I led a behavioral science consultancy and nudge unit, completed executive programs in behavioral science through Harvard and Yale, and co-hosted the B.E. Good! podcast, where I interviewed leading thinkers in the field.

I’ve seen firsthand how powerful behavioral science can be when it’s applied thoughtfully to real business and organizational challenges.

At its core, behavioral science helps us understand why people do what they do and what influences the choices they make. Behind goals like revenue, employee performance, customer experience and brand perception are specific behaviors: what people choose, adopt, click, buy, use, share or do next.

Changing those behaviors is rarely as simple as waving a magic wand. Behavioral science is a rigorous field built on decades of academic research and experimentation, helping us design around how people actually behave.

The funny thing about humans…

We don’t always do what we want to do.

We intend to finish the purchase, use the new tool, make the better choice or follow through on the thing we said mattered to us… and then something gets in the way.

Maybe it feels confusing. Maybe it takes too much effort. Maybe we default to habit. Maybe everyone around us is doing something else.

That gap between intention and action is exactly where behavioral science gets interesting.

THE BEHAVIORAL QUEST

A practical way to move from business objective to behavior change.

I use a six-part process to help teams translate broad business goals into specific behaviors, understand what is shaping those behaviors and develop smarter, impactful interventions.

01 · THE QUEST

What are we trying to change?

We begin by translating the business objective into a specific behavior. What do we actually need a customer, patient, employee or audience to do differently?

02 · THE PROTAGONIST

Who needs to act?

We get clear on the person behind the behavior: their context, needs, motivations and the realities surrounding the decision.

03 · THE MAP

What happens today?

We trace the current journey, identifying the moments, choices and decision points surrounding the behavior we want to influence.

04 · THE FORCES

What’s helping get in the way?

We diagnose the behavioral forces shaping what people actually do, from friction and cognitive load to habits, trust, social influence and emotion.

05 · THE ENCHANTMENT

What can we change?

This is where insight turns into possibility. Using behavioral-science principles and the ENCHANTED Framework™, we generate interventions to shift the forces influencing behavior.

06 · THE NEXT CHAPTER

What do we try next?

We identify the strongest ideas to test, what success would look like and what we need to learn before expanding or scaling the intervention.

The ENCHANTED Framework™

Behavioral science, made practical.

The ENCHANTED Framework™ is the intervention toolkit I use during the Enchantment stage.

It distills behavioral-science principles into a practical set of lenses, prompts and cards designed to help teams look at a challenge from different angles and generate smarter ways to influence behavior.

Rather than expecting everyone in the room to become a behavioral scientist, the framework gives teams a repeatable way to apply behavioral thinking to real business problems long after the workshop ends.

Diagnose the behavior. Explore the forces. Design the enchantment.

HOW IT COMES TO LIFE

Build your behavioral science capability through an interactive workshop.

I teach the Behavioral Quest and ENCHANTED Framework™ together through a practical half-day workshop, giving participants a repeatable way to diagnose behavior, generate interventions and apply behavioral science to real business challenges.

Private Team Training

Build behavioral science capabilities inside your organization.

A private half-day workshop designed around your team and business context. I teach the Behavioral Quest and ENCHANTED Framework™ using examples and challenges from your own organization so the learning can carry into how your team thinks, designs and makes decisions.

Ideal for: marketing, customer experience, innovation, product, HR, leadership, insights and cross-functional teams.

Open Small-Group Training

Professional development in behavioral science.

A small-group half-day workshop for professionals from various organizations to learn the methodology and apply it to real business challenges.

These sessions can also be hosted by chambers of commerce, universities, conferences, professional associations and business communities.

Ideal for: leaders, managers, marketers, researchers, CX professionals, product teams and consultants.

What You Take With You

Behavioral science you can keep using. Participants leave with:

  • a practical understanding of behavioral science and why people behave the way they do

  • the six-part Behavioral Quest for framing behavior-change challenges

  • the ENCHANTED Framework™ for developing interventions

  • ENCHANTED cards and practical worksheets

  • AI prompts for applying the methodology to future challenges

  • experience working through a real business problem

  • a clear direction for what to test, change or explore next

The goal is for the methodology to become something you can continue using, whether I’m in the room or not.

Need deeper support?

Sometimes the challenge calls for more than a workshop.

For select projects and depending on scope and availability, I may also work alongside organizations more deeply to diagnose a specific behavioral challenge, develop potential interventions and help shape what gets tested next.

These engagements are designed around the problem rather than a fixed consulting package.
