THE LIFE I THOUGHT I WAS SUPPOSED TO LIVEHi, I’m Jenic.
I work with people who can feel the pull toward something new, even when the vision isn’t fully formed and the path forward isn’t yet clear.
I know that place because I’ve lived it.
For nearly 20 years, I built a successful corporate career, eventually leading a boutique consulting firm in NYC and working with some of the world’s most influential organizations.
By all appearances, I had created the life I thought I was supposed to want: achievement, financial success, travel and freedom.
And yet, beneath it all, I felt increasingly disconnected from myself.
The harder I pushed toward the next achievement, the more anxious and empty I became. Looking back, I understand that feeling differently now.
It was the tension point between the life I was living and the life I was meant to live.
Something in me was asking for a different story long before I knew what that story would be.
THE DREAM THAT CHANGED THE STORYOne night, during one of the darkest periods of my life, I found myself praying to a higher power I wasn’t even sure I believed in.
I was asking for help. For some sign that there was meaning on the other side of what I was experiencing.
That night, I had a vivid dream.
In it, I was shown that I was meant to create something for children. Something that would help them remember who they are and stay connected to the light already inside them.
I knew the dream mattered. I also had no idea what to do with it.
I didn’t have children. I had no experience working with them. Nothing about the vision made logical sense within the life I was living.
And I wasn’t ready to fully follow it yet.
The years that followed would take me through enormous changes, unexpected paths, massive losses and painful lessons that slowly stripped away more of the identity I had spent my life building.
All the while, the dream quietly remained.
THE BUSINESS I HAD TO BUILD MY WAYThe vision in the dream was the one spark that hadn’t disappeared. So I surrendered and began building it.
But once it became a business, all of my old conditioning came rushing back in.
I looked at mindfulness teachers, children’s educators and other founders who seemed far more qualified, and every comparison made me question whether I was enough to bring Little Lightworkers forward.
The shift came when I realized I didn’t need to become more like anyone else. I needed to trust the perspective, imagination and lived experience I was already bringing to the work.
Eventually, that meant stepping into the story myself. At 49, I put on my wings and became the Fairy of Light.
It was unconventional. It was deeply personal. And it felt unmistakably mine.
That journey taught me something I now bring into every business conversation:
The founder is part of the business strategy.
And that belief became Fairy Tale Consulting.

My work has taken me across industries, markets and more than 40 countries, partnering with leading brands and organizations while building teams, launching new ventures and developing a deep understanding of human behavior.
Then I became a founder myself.
Building Little Lightworkers gave me hands-on experience creating a brand from the ground up: physical products, digital courses, memberships, apps, websites, funnels, events, content and the technology behind them.
Today, Fairy Tale Consulting brings those worlds together: strategic rigor, behavioral insight, creative intuition and the practical experience of actually building something from scratch.
